We have moved
The Joseph Proudman Building, University of Liverpool campus

On Monday 06 December 2004 we, and our colleagues at the Proudman Oceanographic Laboratory (POL), moved from Bidston Observatory on the Wirral to the purpose-built Joseph Proudman Building on the University of Liverpool campus.

Whilst BODC and POL will remain part of the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC), the move will encourage better liaison with the University staff and students. It will also enhance our site services.
The NERC-managed activity at the National Oceanography Centre, Southampton (NOCS) and the Proudman Oceanographic Laboratory (POL), Liverpool were bought together to form the National Oceanography Centre (NOC) on 1 April 2010.
