Reference Level
The tide staff zero has been linked to fixed benchmarks by the contributors. The documentation shows the tide staff to be stable relative to the benchmarks throughout the period. However the data reveal numerous level shifts between 02 April - 31 December 1989. After investigation by the originators into the tide staff readings and original analog rolls, it has been determined that these shifts are not correctable.

BM No. 3
It is a 9cm bronze disk stamped CF 3, set in cement at the right side of the basement of the passenger pier.
BM No. 6
It is a 6cm bronze disk stamped CF 6 set in cement at the base of the flag pole front to 'Capitania de Puerto' building.
