Comments
There is no evidence of any obvious reference level shifts.
Most questionable fluctuations are related to timing problems with the gauge.
There are no data available from 1977 to 1981.
The quality of the timing improves by 1985.
All the data refer to tide gauge zero at St. Paul's Harbour. The data from 1997-2000 (Women's Bay) has been adjusted by adding 787mm to refer it to tide gauge zero at St. Paul's Harbour.
The data for 1998-2000 were supplied in non-GMT format and had to be shifted into GMT.
