| Objectives | Cruise JR186 is Western core box and cruise JR214 NOC moorings. Cruises JR222 and JR223 were drifter buoy and mooring deployment for L-OCEAN and NOAA, respectively.
On the northbound leg of the Atlantic Meridional Transect (AMT) cruise, sediment trap moorings were deployed in the Southern Oligotrophic Gyre (SOG) of Atlantic at about 15S 25W. Sediment trap moorings were recovered and deployed at the Porcupine Abyssal Plain (PAP) 49N 16.5W.
