| Objectives | A) To recover and deploy a CEFAS waverider buoy at the Mersey bar (53 32.05 N, 3 21.20 W).
B) To recover and deploy an ADCP/ADV mooring and a CEFAS Smartbuoy at 53 32 N 3 21.8 W. C) To recover and deploy an ADCP mooring and a Smartbuoy at 53 27 N 3 38.6 W. D) To obtain CTD profiles, water samples and sediment grab samples at 34 Coastal Observatory sites. E) To recover and deploy an ADCP mooring and a single point mooring with a near surface temperature and conductivity logger at 53 32.3 N 3 27 W. The cruise is the 57th in a series starting in August 2002 to maintain the moorings in objective (B+C) and to make CTD profiles at fixed locations (D) in Liverpool Bay / the eastern Irish Sea, Objective (E) is an additional exercise as part of a collaborative study between POL and Bangor University. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
