B) To service a sea bed ADCP frame and SmartBuoy mooring at 53 27N 3 39W.

C) To attach an AIS (Automatic Identification System) to the SmartBuoy at 53 27N 3 39W.

D) To obtain CTD profiles, water samples and grab samples at the Coastal Observatory sites.

The cruise is the 63rd in a series starting in August 2002 to maintain the moorings in objective (A+B) and to steam round a CTD grid in Liverpool Bay / the eastern Irish Sea, objective (D). Both objectives A and B were met and the AIS sucessfully put in place (objective C). Measurements were made at 29 out of a possible 34 sites for objective (D).
