International current meters

Search

With this search interface you are able to query the international inventory of moored current meters. You may opt to use a simple or advanced query form. Both forms allow you to build a query from a number of categories, each of which is initially set to a broad default value that you can make narrower using the 'Refine' button.

It is not essential to start at the top of a form as the options available in all categories are automatically updated depending on your selections. We recommend that you start with your most important criteria. Your current search criteria are updated and displayed in the search form as you make your choices.

Please be aware that the categories that are specific to the advanced search will be reset, should you opt to switch from an advanced to a simple search.

You may, if you wish, refine any of your selections at any time. A history of your previous choices is maintained for each category.

After each update, the number of records that match your selection will be displayed at the bottom of the page. You may view the results of your search at any time.

Deployment date

Refine your search to select series deployed between specified dates.

Use the "pull-down" menus (yyyy mm dd) to select specific dates. Your selection must be within the allowed range.

  • If you select a start date and an end date then all series deployed between your start and end dates are returned.
  • If you only select a start date then all series deployed after your start date are returned.
  • If you only select an end date then all series deployed before your end date are returned.

If you are interested in a particular time of the year, you can use the recurring date option to locate deployments at that time in several years. To select all series which were deployed during the months of, for example, January and February in the years 2001 to 2006, enter the ranges required in the start and end date fields and check the recurring date box. This will only return series deployed during January or February in the year 2001, 2002 ....2006.

Once you are happy with your selection use the update button to submit your search criteria.

The default will match any series irrespective of its start/end date.
