The pictures/images presented across our web site have been gathered from many different individuals and organisations. BODC wishes to thank all contributors and asks that users respect the copyright conditions.
No part of this work may be reproduced or transmitted in any form or by any means, or stored in a retrieval system of any nature, without the prior written permission of the copyright holder. In the case of the NERC material at this site people should contact us. For non-NERC material, users can either contact us or approach the original source directly.
Land elevation information derived from the Global Land One-Kilometer Base Elevation (GLOBE) Digital Elevation Model has been used on our web site in a number of maps showing data coverage or sampling site locations. The map images were created using the Generic Mapping Tools (GMT) software system.
The images are provided as small thumbnails and may appear blurred. If you wish to view a picture in its full glory please click on the picture in question and you will be redirected to the page containing the picture. You will be able to return to this page via the link provided on the copyright symbol in the picture caption.
