Producing a profile plot
GEBCO Digital Atlas — sample images
The GDA software interface allows the user to produce a profile plot of a section through the data set. The elevation information is taken from the GEBCO One Minute Grid. The position of way points along the profile plot can be selected by the user.
In the example shown here the section runs northwest to southeast finishing to the west of Ireland with three intermediate way points. The chosen section is plotted as a line on the map.
