Shore-parallel breakwaters at Sea Palling, Norfolk ©
The Liverpool - East Anglia Coastal Study 2 (LEACOAST2) is a 3-year research programme funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC). It follows the recent LEACOAST project (2002 - 2005) in studying sediment transport under tide and wave conditions at Sea Palling, Norfolk, UK, where nine shore-parallel breakwaters were built some 10 years ago to protect the low-lying, flood-prone coastal area.
