Social bookmarking

Surfing the internet for information is time consuming and users regularly bookmark pages to allow them to return to interesting items easily. Traditionally, bookmarks were stored within the internet browser. However, since the advent of social bookmarking, things have changed.

Social bookmarking allows you to store your items of interest on the web instead of inside your web browser. This has added benefits as you are able to access them from any internet-connected computer and share your finds with other users. A variety of services are available to store, share, categorise, search for and discuss bookmarked pages. Once you have registered for a service, they are free to use.

To enable you to social bookmark items of interest within our web site, we have introduced a 'Bookmark' option which is presented on the top right of each page. Click on the Bookmark link and select your preferred service.
