Oceanology International 2006
01 March 2006
It is the world's largest marine science and ocean technology meeting and there are expected to be more than 7000 visitors from every aspect of the oceanographic community. These will include policy makers, industrialists, senior government representatives, decision makers, researchers, directors, managers, scientists, engineers and manufacturers.
This will be the second time that BODC has exhibited at Oi and it's your chance to come along and talk to some of our staff. We will try to answer any questions or requests you might have for oceanographic data.
Our stand will focus on
- where the data come from
- what we do with the data
- how you can obtain data
We will be highlighting our latest technical developments including improved access to data and metadata, new software and the delivery of data in realtime via the internet.
