Objectives | Aims
1. Service SmartBuoys at Warp and West Gabbard. 2. Service EAOW landers, and guard buoys at several sites. 3. Service SmartBuoy at Dowsing. 4. Test online flow cytometer and flurometer. Plan Sail 15:00 2nd June directly to West Gabbard. A water sample will be collected via CTD rosette, then 3 new guard buoys a SmartBuoy and a waverider will be deployed at a site 800m from the main. After an overnight steam to the Warp, the SmartBuoy will be serviced after breakfast (with water samples before and after as usual). We will then return to West Gabbard to recover the old SmartBuoy and collect more water samples via the CTD, before leaving for the Dowsing. After an overnight steam to the Dowsing, the SmartBuoy will be serviced after breakfast on the 4th. Returning overnight east to AWAC4.1 the minilander will be serviced and water and sediment samples collected. Endeavour will then proceed to AWAC 3.1. in the afternoon of the 3rd where the minilander will be service along with water and sediment samples. Endeavour will return to Lowestoft after visual checks of DWR E and DWR C to dock at approx 18:00 on Wednesday 5th June If the weather is poor the route may be revised. |
