Objectives | The focus of expedition ANT-XXVI/2, which took Polarstern over a distance of 9757 nm for the first time across the entire polar South Pacific, was marine-geoscientific studies. This was complemented by bathymetric (HYDROSWEEP) and echo-sounding (PARASOUND) surveys along the majority of the cruise track (9273 nm). |
