Objectives | The original main objective - The exploration of the morphology of the Brazilian continental slope and rise to the east of Recife using Gloria Mk II - had to be abandoned when the Brazilian authorities refused permission to carry out this work. Consequently an alternative programme of work outside the 200 mile limit was accomplished. |
