| Summary | The project objective is to follow long-term trends in phytobenthic plant-animal communities regarding their species composition, abundance, cover degree, depth distribution and biomass, trying to identify the natural variation in the data set in order to create a firm reference ground for later comparative studies in the Baltic Proper area. Taxonomical, phytogeographical data presents unique information to us, information which we cannot get by other, less labour intensive methods e.g. chemical analysis. |
