Parameters

Dissolved trace metalloid concentrations in the water column

Instruments

Atomic absorption spectrometers; high performance liquid chromatographs; inductively-coupled plasma mass spectrometers; mass spectrometers; nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometers

Description
Summary

The project intends to develop suitable analytical techniques for refractory arsenicals in order to be able to study their distribution and behaviour in the different estuarine compartments; these will include tributaries, the surface microlayer, interstitial waters and the continental shelf waters.
