Role division

CLIVAR plans for providing in-situ sea level data recognizes the need for the establishment of two sea level Data Assembly Centres (DACs). The two centres perform complementary activities.

  • The British Oceanographic Data Centre (BODC) is responsible for constructing the data set suitable for archiving and long term preservation.
