General Bathymetric Chart of the Oceans (GEBCO)
GEBCO's aim is to provide the most authoritative, publicly-available bathymetry for the world's oceans. It operates under the joint auspices of the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC) and the International Hydrographic Organization (IHO).
Seabed 2030 is a collaborative project between the Nippon Foundation of Japan and GEBCO. It aims to bring together all available bathymetric data to produce the definitive map of the world ocean floor by 2030 and make it available to all. BODC is acting as the Global Data Center for the project.
GEBCO makes available a range of bathymetric data sets and products, including a global bathymetric grid, gazetteer of undersea feature names, web services and a world map. Further information is available from GEBCO's web site.
GEBCO's latest bathymetric grid - GEBCO_2019 - a global grid at 15 arc-second intervals, is available to download.
