Display undersea feature names

Version 2.0 and later of the GDA Software Interface allow the user to select to display the position of undersea features by feature type. For example you can select to display just the position of seamounts or just trenches and ridges. The undersea feature names are taken from the International Hydrographic Organization (IHO)/Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC) Gazetteer of Geographic Names of Undersea Features.

You can also select to display name text for the undersea features in the map display area. This facility is available for features which are defined by a single point or by two points. The image below shows the name text displayed for all available undersea features for a region in the North Atlantic. Find out more about the latest release of the GDA Software Interface.
