Data set list for ACSOE-MAGE

ACSOE-MAGE (Marine Aerosol and Gas Exchange) was the only component of ACSOE which included measurements in the marine environment. This group focused on the study of aspects of air-sea exchange relevant to atmospheric chemistry and aerosol production. The data collected during the ACSOE-MAGE project was collated and, where necessary, quality controlled and processed by BODC.

The MAGE component of the ACSOE project consisted of four cruises. (The Principle Scientific Officer (PSO) is responsible for directing the scientific work carried out during the cruise.)

  • Challenger CH127 from 6 June to 5 July 1996 in the Eastern Atlantic (PSO — Dr. Lucinda Spokes, University of East Anglia, UK)
