What is RSS?
Really Simple Syndication (RSS) takes the hassle out of staying up to date with current content on your favourite web sites. It is a service that allows the latest news or features to be delivered directly to you, rather than you having to browse for the information.
We provide a RSS feed from our News and Events and Site map sections. These allow you to receive our latest news or web site additions automatically.
How do I use RSS feeds?
To subscribe to RSS feeds you will need to obtain a Newsreader. There are many different versions either accessible through a browser or as a downloadable application. All allow you to display the RSS feeds you select.
Once you have obtained your Newsreader, subscribe to our feed by
- Visting our News and Events or Site map sections
- 'Click' on
- 'Copying and pasting' or 'dragging' the URL (e.g. https://www.bodc.ac.uk/about/news_and_events/news.xml) of our feed into your reader
