Introduction

This report collates information from the BODC cruise inventory and oceanographic databases. It presents

Cruise Inventory Information

Long name RV Cefas Endeavour (74E9) cruise 20/12 Part A
Short name 20/12 Part A
Objectives and Narrative Aims

1. Service SmartBuoys at Warp and West Gabbard
2. Deploy EAOW landers, waveriders and guard buoys at 5 sites (inc Multibeam)
3. Trial deployments of BRUVS camera trap (at SmartBuoy sites as a minimum)

After some well organised gear transfer operations the Endeavour sailed on time at 12:30 on 01/12/2012. Proceeding directly south to the Warp SmartBuoy arriving at 20:15. The CTD rosette was deployed but the bottles would not fire so samples were collected from the FerryBox supply. The SmartBuoy was recovered at 21:00 and re-deployed at 21:40. Water samples were collected via a 10lt Niskin bottle on the hydro wire with the ESM2 profiler below. The Endeavour steamed overnight to DWR "C" arriving at 05:30 on 2/12/12.

The waverider was deployed at 06:40 and guard buoys deployed at 07:15 and 07:40. The Endeavour returned to Lowestoft to dock at 12:00.
