| Objectives and Narrative |
The objectives of this cruise were:
(1) To service seven current meter moorings in the eastern Irish Sea. Six serviced and one re-deployed. (2) To service the Near-bed Velocity recorder tetrapod mooring. Accomplished. (3) To work a 15-hour anchor station near the tetrapod collecting water samples for SPM particle size analysis and making DRCM and CTD measurements. 13-hour station worked. (4) To work CTD sections between the Isle of Man and the Scottish and English coasts. Sections worked between Anglesey and the Isle of Man and two between the Isle of Man and the English coast. (5) To release seabed drifters at two locations east of the Isle of Wight whilst on passage from Lowestoft. Accomplished. (6) To collect water samples for radiocaesium analysis. Accomplished. |
