| Objectives and Narrative |
CTD stations in order to study the Benguela current. Benguela Current Source and Transport (BEST). This hydrogrpahic work had two basic objectives:
1) obtain CTD stations above the BEST moorings in order to obtain a "snap-shot" view of the thermohaline and oxygen stratification and to help interpret the moored array time series data. 2) gather hydrographic and dynamic data, and survey Agluhas eddies. This cruise was the second of three hydrographic surveys. |
