| Objectives and Narrative | Cruise FR 10/91 was undertaken to study ocean transport in the Tasman and Coral Seas and to collect ground truth data for validation of the ATSR (Along Track Scanning Radiometer). Also testing of the "flying fish" without electronic components and XBT/XCTD tests and calibrations were conducted. Survey methods included ADCP, CTDs, XCTDs, XBTs, underway instrumentation, radiometer, mooring and drifter deployments. Related Franklin cruises are 10/89, 02/90, 10/91, 07/92, 07/93 and 03/94. |
