| Objectives and Narrative | WOCE cruise (section designation P17C) . Sampling was done primarily with a 36-place (10 L bottle) rosette. Water samples were analysed for salinity, oxygen, silicate, phosphate, nitrate/ntirite on all stations. CFC-11, CFC-12, 3helium, tritium, AMS, 14C, alkalinity, and total dissolved inorganic carbon were measured on selected stations. Separate surface water samples were taken on some stations for analyses of 226Ra, 228Ra, and Ba. Additionally, a shipboard ADCP was continuously operated along the entire cruise track. |
