Reference Level: | The data have been linked to tide staff zero by the contributors. However, further analysis of the data has lead to adjustments of the reference level in separate segments. The following adjustments were justified by obvious shifts in the hourly residuals. These adjustments are uncertain to a few centimetres.

Comment | The daily or monthly means do not reveal any obvious reference level shifts and agree well with a neighboring station, Naha. Most questionable fluctuations are related to timing problems with the gauge. The station was relocated to latitude 28° 22.9' N, longitude 129° 29.8; E on 16 December 1980; however, the bench marks of the original and new locations have been linked by levelling. |
