Quality Assessment

Comments

A reference level correction was applied to the original data by adding +15.2 cm between 03Z 14 August - 15Z 01 September 1983. Otherwise the daily and monthly means reveal no apparent reference level changes or trends.

The residuals are very noisy during some of the winter months associated with meteorological events.

The data for 1996-2000 were supplied with heights relative to MLLW. Consequently 683mm was added to refer the data to tide gauge zero.

The data for 1998-2000 were supplied in non-GMT format and had to be shifted into GMT.
