The datum of the pressure measurements is not maintained from one deployment to the next and depths given are approximate. Pressures are relative.
Quality Assessment
Period | Comments |
---|---|
Nov 1988 - Nov 1989 | The long-term drift has been satisfactorily removed from PRESRL02 and PRESRL03, but not from PRESRL01, hence data for PRESRL01 should not be used. |
Nov 1989 - Nov 1990 | The long-term drift has bee satisfactorily removed from PRESRL01 and PRESRL02 but not from PRESRL03. Hence data for PRESRL03 should not be used. Marked data 340, 355 |
Nov 1990 - Jan 1992 | Long-term drift has been satisfactorily removed from PRESRL01 and PRESRL03, but not PRESRL02. |
Jan 1992 - Nov 1992 | Long-term drift was very small so therefore not removed from pressure measurements. Contributor recommends use of PRESRL02 or PRESRL03 rather than PRESRL01. Data from 21 July onwards is not temperature corrected, due to sensor failure, hence should not be used. |
