Description
Summary

One of the main objectives of the BMP-HELCOM is the observation of changes taking place in the marine environment, particularly resulting from human activity. The data were collected during seasonal monitoring cruises with research vessels every year and during special investigations (particularly combined with the monitoring programme). The data has been quality controlled. Data from simultaneous sampling for biological parameters are stored in BIOMAD at the Department of Systems Ecology.
