Abstract

Ammonium oxidation rate data measured at three depths within the photic zone of the oligotrophic Atlantic Ocean. Rate measurements were made using 15-N isotope dilution techniques. Samples for the analysis of isotopic enrichment were taken during short deck incubations at sea and analysed by Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometry at the land based laboratory.
