Abstract |
The objective of cruise JR307 in January 2015 was to trace the movement and modification of circumpolar deep water across the West Antarctic Peninsula shelf and its influence on macronutrient and inorganic carbon supply to productive coastal regions, in this case Marguerite and Ryder Bays. Samples were collected from niskin bottles mounted on the CTD rosette of RRS James Clark Ross and analysed for carbonate system parameters, macronutrient concentrations, N and O isotope composition of nitrate, concentrations and isotope composition of POC and PN, and oxygen isotope composition of seawater. Bottle data from the CTD package are also provided, and include physical and biological measurements. |
