Abstract |
CTD profiles were aquired from casts taken from RV Pelagia, station #141 to station #151. Velocity data was aquired from a 1200 kHz Teledyne RDI ADCP mounted underneath the NERC Autosub3 autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV). The AUV took 8 round legs (16 individual transects) over approx 1km stretch of seafloor bedforms. At the end of each leg the AUV surfaced enabling a precise GPS fix. The data presented in this study are a subset of the data collected during the research cruise. |
