Abstract |
Absorption spectra of chromophoric dissolved organic matter were measured by Dr. David McKee and team (University of Strathclyde) as part of the efforts to characterise the optical properties of the Barents Sea. Absorption coefficients were measured with a LWCC (liquid waveguide capillary cell) system from discrete water samples collected during the Changing Arctic Ocean, Arctic PRIZE summer cruise, JR17006, in June-July 2018. Sample depths vary from < 1m -40m. Two samples were taken at each sampling location, one just below the surface and one at the subsurface chlorophyll maximum. |
