Description 
Summary

The data collected as part of the ICES assessment of commercial fish stocks. Data are collected on a random basis at the three Belgian fishing harbours Zeebrugge, Oostende and Nieuwpoort and at sea on research cruises directed on juveniles and adults (only in the Southern Bight of the North Sea). Data are quarterly processed as population assessments. Individuals per stock samples are as follows: about 1000 per stock for ageing and about 4000 per stock for measuring (survey data not included). Data are processed annually in the appropriate ICES Working Groups.
