Description | |
Summary | The project objectives are to follow long-term trends in the chlorophyll-a content of the seawater and thereby get an estimate of the phytoplankton biomass. The chlorophyll content of the phytoplankton has been monitored at one coastal station: Ore estuary (from 1988) and two open sea stations, Bothnian Bay and Bothnian Sea (from 1989). Data from simultaneous sampling for water physics/chemistry are stored at the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute, SMHI. |
