| Summary | The sea level is recorded at 14 sites around the coast of Denmark. The aim of collecting sea level data regularly at these sites is to supply the data to the ships traffic in real time. Secondly, long time series of sea level are needed for tidal analysis and prediction. The data are transferred in real time to the data holder, calibrated and quality controlled before storage in an oceanographic data base. |
