Summary

The number of seals in Danish waters are counted as part of the continuation of the national monitoring program of Danish seal populations started in 1979 in the Kattegat and Wadden Sea and since 1990 in the Limfjord and the western parts of the Baltic Sea. The objective of the study is to monitor the size and geographic distribution of the seal populations in Danish interior waters.
