Description | |
Summary | Marine oil pollution detection and drift forecast consists of three modules: numerical modelling, satellite remote sensing and LIDAR measurements. Oil detection research is based on analyses of SAR and MODIS images. Numerical modelling is used for oil drift forecast. LIDAR measurements enable to determine oil type and amount of spilled oil. The results consist of methodology for oil detection that is combined with SAR and MODIS images and modelled wind field. The database that consists of spectrum of 56 different oil products has been formed. |
