Description | |
Summary | The data are collected as part of NCMR assessment of commercial demersal fish stocks in the Greek Seas. Data on hake (Merluccius merluccius) are collected at sea on research cruises. Approximately 1000-2000 fish are aged each year in order to construct age-length keys. Some 4000 individuals are also measured for the construction of the length frequency distribution. Both are used for stock assessment purposes. In addition, some 600-800 specimens are also used for stomach content analysis. |
