| Summary | In the framework of the multidisciplinary oceanographic study of Amvrakikos Gulf, monthly data of phytoplankton (chlorophyll-a and species composition) and zooplankton (biomass and groups composition) were collected in order to study spatial and temporal distribution of phytoplankton, zooplankton, phytobenthos and zoobenthos. Phytobenthos and zoobenthos community composition and seasonal fluctuations were studied by seasonal sampling. |
