Description | |
Summary | The aim of Okeanos project was to use a new technology in order to monitor the sea wave surface and to have a small network with sea wave monitoring stations across the coasts of Greece in order to observe the sea state in the neighbouring regions where the stations are situated. The monitoring is based on the processing of 32 radar images every 5 minutes by the Wavex software of Miros. |
