| Summary | Sonograph images have been collected since the early seventies on a global scale. Images exist for many of the larger tectonic and sedimentary features in the northeast Atlantic ocean. A major programme has been a five year long survey of the EEZ of the USA (including Alaska and the Hawaiian Islands). A large collection of sonographs are available in analogue and (if appropriate software is available) digital form. Copies of the data are usually provided in the form of photographs of the individual sonographs or the ship mosaics. |
