Description
Summary

The data set comprises echo-sounder readings from platform mounted instruments and includes ice draught distribution, lead distribution and pressure ridge distribution with an examination of pressure ridge cross- sectional features. The project examines the behaviour and distribution of sea ice in the Arctic Basin, including modelling the formation of pressure ridges and leads to a better understand the contribution of sea ice to climatic change with a view to monitoring such phenomena.
