The aim of the core depository Museum of the LHGP/UATH was to collect all the data that had been produced during the past 22 year AUGHP involvement in hundreds of national and international projects concerned with the study of the Upper Cenozoic sedimentary column. Data were included from over 700 offshore sites, 112 coastal sites, 250 estuaries, marsh and lake sites, plus over 60 onshore drilling sites. Samples were analysed with a wide spectrum of techniques utilizing a variety of instruments.
