| Summary | The results from the reference areas are registered, quality controlled and reported yearly and used in HELCOM's periodic assessments of the environmental conditions in the Baltic. Data is distributed to participating countries and will also be in the future distributed to ICES/HELCOM. Collaborating institutes are the Fishing bureau in Aland, Finnish Game and Fisheries Research Institute in Helsinki and Estonian Marine Institute. |
