| Summary | The aim of the Programme was to study the physical and chemical parameters affecting the life and birth of sea turtle Carretta-Carretta. Sea temperature data were collected, every ten minutes, using thermistor chain, at one site (Lagana Bay) which is considered essential for the reproduction of Carretta-Carretta. The measurements cover the summer period of 1986. The project was supported by the Greek Ministry of Environment and the Commission of European Communities (CEC). |
