Summary

The aim of the project is to produce a model in order to define the carrying capacity of Malliakos Bay for the rearing of Molluscs. In the first period, a general survey was carried out twice at 22 stations covering almost the entire Gulf. Monthly sampling of surface water at 6 stations and complete profile of water column at 3 stations was carried out. The project has been financed by the CEC/FAR Programme. In the second period, the 3 stations continued to be monitored
