Description
Summary

The purpose of this research project is:

   1) to analyse and quantify fluxes and production of inorganic and organic material and energy fluxes, including currents and watermasses, in the ecological system of the Iceland sea and adjoining seas, with the intention of acquiring an holistic understanding of the ecological system and its mechanics.
   2) to analyse the factors that govern the life history of the capelin stock.
